Diane Lee's show will run from May 2 - June 30, 2024
Reception will be held May 17, 5;00 - 7:00 Diane Lee is a Tennessee artist best known for her exuberant florals, tantalizing land and ocean scapes, and ethereal abstracts; all rooted in her love of the French Impressionistic style of painting. Her ever changing, miraculous and challenging muse is nature itself. Diane’s paintings can be a parade of distinctive yet harmonious splashes of somber, soft, provocative colors that mark her skill as a colorist. Her paintings are rich with movement and she paints with the goal of drawing you in for a closer look.
Exhibiting in the Gallery
Members of the Guild may apply to exhibit their work for sale in the Artisan Depot gallery. Exhibiting artists are chosen by a jury of members based on several criteria.
Click here to view and download jurying criteria. After the jury process, works exhibited in the gallery are hung in rotation for six months; after that time, the artist may submit new work for hanging (subject to space). Click here to download the Artist Agreement. Artwork accepted to be displayed in the gallery must have wire attached to the back for hanging, and each piece needs to be labeled clearly with the artist's name, the title of the piece, media, price, and artist code; click here for a printable template for labels. To earn the maximum commission for artwork sold, exhibiting members must work one day a month in the gallery. Volunteer In addition to working in the gallery, there are many other ways you can volunteer your time to support the gallery and the Guild. Volunteers help hang shows, set up for fundraisers, work booths at other shows and festivals, work in the Garden and so on. Click here if you have some time to contribute. |
